WHAT IS RED LIGHT THERAPY?
Red light therapy (RLT) is a treatment used to help stimulate cell regeneration and blood flow. During a session, a continuous beam of low energy red light is applied to the whole body or specific areas to stimulate the cell’s mitochondria. This can help to improve cell function and aid in the treatment of certain conditions. RLT can stimulate both cell and energy production, leading to decreased pain and inflammation, while promoting healing and blood circulation.

How do I do it?
Having a RLT session with us is as easy as booking an appointment and taking a seat! We do ask that any areas that you want treated directly are exposed to the red light without any interference (clothing/coverings). When you have your red light session you will have the room to yourself without any interruptions. Sessions typically last for 20 minutes, and during that time you are free to listen to music or a podcast, read, or just sit back and relax. If you are facing the red light, we do ask that you wear the sunglasses provided.

What to expect after treatment
While most people do not experience side effects from our treatment, people may experience some mild redness or itching if the treatment was concentrated in one area. One of the most common side effects is feeling very calm and at ease after treatment. We typically recommend more than one treatment, especially if using it to target specific issues energy, injury recovery, skin challenges, or pain.
